Do you find yourself consumed by your Instagram feed? Food delivery apps are your jam? Maybe you spend your spare time checking out the latest shifts on Catapult? We’ve all got an app we rely on to get us through the day.
We conducted a little office poll to find out which apps people just can’t live without. And the results made us curious! Keen to learn more, we asked a few people what made their favourite apps so great and, because that’s what we do, put them all here so you can check them out for yourselves!
Share costs within a group! The iPhone/iPad app lets groups add their expenses as you go. Then, when you’re ready, you can settle things up using a handy email report.
“I live with my boyfriend, so we use it for all our bills, or for splitting things evenly when we go out for dinner or drinks. It makes it easy to keep our finance fair.” – Annabel, Head of Customer Operations
The app version of the popular buying, trading and selling site, the Gumtree app lets you search, find and buy items on your phone.
“We just moved into our first home. My girlfriend and I used the Gumtree app a lot to find really unique pieces of furniture for the house and we didn’t end up spending a fortune.” – Rory, Account Manager and Project Manager
Nike Run Club
This app lets you track your runs, gives you coaching and even bring friends along for the ride.
“I recently ran a marathon and I found the Nike Run Club app great for tracking my progress. I also like that it gives you reports and lets you look back on your past runs.” – Ben, Account Manager
Type in where you need to go and Citymapper will show you every possible way to get there! Get yourself around cities in the UK, or change locations when you go abroad.
“If I’m ever going somewhere new, the first thing I do is pop it into Citymapper. It tells me exactly how long it will take to get there, the different routes I can take and even how much it costs. It’s a lifesaver!” – Sarah, Visual Designer
ClassPass lets you pay a monthly subscription for credits to gyms and fitness classes all over so you can get variety and flexibility from your workout.
“I love the app. It lets you manage your account, book classes and even watch fitness videos when I can’t make it to a class!” Ali, Head of Candidate Operations
